Eric Bommer

Eric Bommer, Managing Partner, joined Sentinel as its first professional hire in 1997 and has established a successful midmarket private equity record over nearly three decades. Before Sentinel, Eric was an Associate at Kaizen Breakthrough Partnership, a private equity fund that specialized in investing in underperforming midmarket companies. Before Kaizen, he was an Analyst at CS First Boston and a Financial Analyst at LaSalle Partners.

For a year after he graduated college, he was captain of the Livingston Kings, a Scottish professional hockey team that he helped lead to the Scottish First Division Championship. Eric holds a BA from Brown University with a double major in business economics and organizational behavior. He was also an assistant captain on Brown’s NCAA hockey team.
