John McCormack

John McCormack is a cofounder of Sentinel and serves as a Senior Partner. Over more than three decades, he has established a successful, long-term midmarket private equity record. Before cofounding Sentinel, John spent six years as a Vice President of Smith Barney’s private equity affiliate, where he worked closely with David Lobel.

Before Smith Barney, John spent eight years at Coopers & Lybrand, where his principal assignments included conducting due diligence and acquisition reviews of target investment opportunities for private equity firms and strategic buyers. He holds a BS in accounting from Boston College.
