ReachOut Healthcare provides mobile dental services to underserved children in schools and foster programs, to residents of assisted-living facilities, and to U.S. Army and National Guard units throughout the country. It offers a complete array of diagnostic, preventive, restorative, prosthodontic, and periodontal dental services. In 2008, ReachOut acquired Mobile Dentists, its largest competitor, creating the nation’s leader in mobile dental services. That year, the combined company operated in 21 states and provided dental care to more than 250,000 low-income children. Sentinel originated, sponsored, and negotiated the Mobile Dentists transaction; arranged the acquisition debt; and provided equity financing.

Backed by Sentinel, ReachOut’s profits more than tripled. In 2010, after achieving substantially all our investment objectives, Sentinel sold ReachOut in a management buyout transaction.
