Backed by Sentinel, MB2 made 118 add-on acquisitions and opened 22 de novo clinics, more than tripling its clinic base to 275; expanded its geographic footprint from six states to 24; and grew sales and profitability fourfold. In 2021, after achieving our investment objectives, Sentinel sold MB2 to another private equity firm. In 2024, with MB2 still outperforming its peers, Sentinel participated as a minority investor in MB2’s recapitalization.
