IEP Technologies, the global leader in explosion protection, provides best-in-class systems and services that detect, suppress, isolate, and/or vent potentially combustible dust or vapor explosions in process industries. IEP’s platforms include sophisticated computer calculation tools that have been subjected to thousands of full-scale explosion tests spanning five decades of field experience. IEP leads the industry in R&D and invests in new product technologies.

At the time of our original investment, IEP Technologies consisted of five separate companies operating under three different brands in five countries, each with separate management teams and IT infrastructures. Today, it operates under one global brand with fully integrated management and IT systems. During Sentinel’s investment period, IEP also grew its sales and profitability.
